As the capitalist system continues to unravel at increasing speed, and reveal its woeful inadequacy to address global challenges, we must redouble our efforts to build our own economic and political institutions. Now is the appointed time for African people to rise up, throw off the shackles of oppression and become self-determining and sovereign again.
